In this quiz you should assign the Roman gods to their Greek counterpart. Test if you're a mythology expert or expand your knowledge!

There are many parallels between Greek and Roman mythology. To almost all Greek gods there is a Roman counterpart. This is because the Romans took over the gods from the Greeks and only the names were adapted. The total number of gods of the Greeks is higher than that of the Romans. The fundamental difference to today's religions such as Christianity or Judaism is that the ancient Romans and Greeks believed in several gods. The technical term for this is polytheism while the contrast is called monotheism. The representation of the gods was very human. The difference was their immortality and their special abilities.
