The Harry Potter book series is one of the most successful books of all time. The author J.K. Rowling has suceed a true masterpiece. The seven books, all of them have turned out to be extraordinarily successful films, are all about magic. The seventh volume was divided into two films, which is why there were a total of eight films. Years later, there was a Harry Potter stage play that was published as a book in script form and can be viewed as the eighth part. The action begins in the stage play several years after the plot of the seven books. Due to some contradictions to the original books, the eighth book is very controversial among Harry Potter fans.

The books are about Harry Potter, who grew up among non-magical people, also known as muggles, and learns on his eleventh birthday that he has been accepted into Hogwarts at the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Now he dives into the fantastic world of magic. At Hogwarts, all the students are divided into four separate houses based on their characteristics and traits by the Speaking Hat: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff. During school, these houses are, their family with whom they spend their lessons and their free time together. In addition, the houses compete against each other for the Quiddich championship and compete for the win of the house trophy. This is awarded to the house that could get the most points. The points can be earned by the students for special services. In Gryffindor bravery and courage reign, in Slytherin cunning, in Hufflepuff diligence and loyalty and in Ravenclaw intelligence and wisdom. Among the students Hufflepuff is also considered the house in which nobody wants, because there land the supposedly less talented. Slytherin, on the other hand, is home to most black magicians and is mostly inhabited only by purebloods. The villain of the book series Lord Voldemort was even part of the house in his school days.
